We take great care to ensure the safe delivery of your order. Our furniture is carefully protected for transport, and every shipment is insured.

We deliver throughout Europe. Deliveries outside Europe are arranged and priced individually.

Delivery Methods

Pallet Delivery

The safest and most frequently chosen delivery method. Your order is delivered on a pallet in securely protected packages.

After delivery, the packages can be removed from the pallet one by one and carried inside separately. The number of packages is specified in the product description. The weight of the heaviest package usually does not exceed 30–40 kg.

As a rule, pallet deliveries are made to the specified address without carrying the furniture into the building.

Home Delivery with Carry-In Service

If this service is available in your area, it will appear as a delivery option in the checkout after you enter your delivery address.

The service includes carrying the furniture inside, according to the carrier’s terms and conditions.

Personal Collection

You may collect your order in person after arranging a convenient pickup date and time with us.

Delivery Time and Costs

Transport usually takes 2–5 business days from the date the shipment is dispatched.

Transport time does not include the production or order preparation period. The current lead time is displayed on the product page or in your order confirmation.

What is the drawer in a double bed used for, and what can be stored in it?
The drawer is a spacious storage compartment mounted on the side of the bed, on wheels. It is used to store bedding, blankets, bedspreads, or seasonal clothing. It is 192 cm long and 18 cm high, and its width depends on the bed size — from 65 cm with a 140 cm mattress, through 75 cm (160 cm) and 85 cm (180 cm), to 95 cm with a 200 cm mattress. It is a storage compartment, not an additional sleeping space.
Can I order one drawer or two drawers?
In the configurator, you choose the number of drawers: one on one side of the bed or two on both sides. Both options work in the same way and run on the same wheels — they differ in capacity and price. Choose the number based on how much storage space you need and which side is more convenient for pulling out the drawer.
Does the drawer scratch the floor when pulled out?
No. The drawer is equipped with rubber-coated wheels that protect the floor from scratches and ensure quiet, smooth sliding. This solution works equally well on laminate, parquet, and tiles. You do not need to lift the drawer or use protective pads — it slides in and out with one simple movement.
Is the drawer included in the price?
The price shown on the product page already includes the drawer — there is no separate hidden surcharge for this element. The version with two drawers has its own price, also shown on the product page. The drawer is available for both models (N01 and N02) and in every offered color, including custom RAL and NCS shades.
Who are Nizio double beds designed for?
Double beds are two-person bedroom furniture that combine a simple, timeless form with a solid wood construction and a 400 kg weight capacity. They work well as the central piece of furniture in a bedroom designed for years of everyday use by two people.
What are the differences between models N01 and N02?
Models N01 and N02 differ only in the appearance of the headboard. The load-bearing structure, weight capacity, available finishes, and sizes are identical in both. The choice between them is a matter of aesthetics and matching the character of the bedroom.
What mattress sizes fit a double bed?
Double beds are available for mattress widths of 140, 160, 180, and 200 cm, with a length of 200 cm, and custom dimensions are possible upon request. The external dimensions are 8 cm larger than the mattress in both length and width — for example, with a 140×200 cm mattress, the bed measures 208×148 cm, and with a 200×200 cm mattress — 208×208 cm. The slatted base made of three permanently bonded frame sections is included in the price; the mattress is selected separately.
Which width should I choose — 140, 160, 180, or 200 cm?
All four widths are 200 cm long and differ in the amount of space per person. A 140 cm mattress provides about 70 cm per person — the most compact option, good for a smaller bedroom. 160 cm provides about 80 cm per person and is the most universal choice for a couple. 180 cm provides a comfortable 90 cm per person, while 200 cm offers the most space, also for taller users. The bed is 8 cm wider than the mattress, which is worth considering when planning the room layout.
Can I choose the headboard height?
Yes. You choose the headboard height when placing your order — the standard height is 76 cm. A lower headboard gives the bed a lighter, more minimalist look, while a higher one creates a more decorative character. The remaining dimensions and load-bearing structure remain unchanged regardless of the selected height.
What types of wood and finishes are available for double beds?
We make our beds exclusively from solid pine wood, oak wood, or a combination of both — without MDF or particleboard. Eight finishes are available: white, grey, white/oak, black/oak, clear pine, natural pine, natural oak, and bleached oak. Upon request, we can paint the bed in any color from the RAL or NCS palette. The coatings are made using certified water-based paints compliant with EN 71-3.
How many legs does the double bed have, and is the slatted base additionally supported?
Every Nizio double bed rests on six legs — four corner legs and two additional central legs that support the slatted base along its full length. This prevents the base from bending under the weight of two people and reduces the risk of creaking. The slatted base consists of three permanently bonded frame sections connected to the bed frame, and the entire structure supports up to 400 kg.
Does the double bed comply with safety standards?
Yes. Double beds comply with EN 1725 for beds and mattress supports, and the finish is made with water-based paints compliant with EN 71-3. The edges are rounded, and the connections are free from visible screws. The solid wood construction contains no MDF or particleboard.
In which versions are double beds available?
In two versions: without drawers and with storage drawers mounted on the side of the bed. Both versions have the same load-bearing structure, N01 and N02 models, and finishes; they differ only in the presence of a drawer next to the bed. The version is selected when placing the order.
How is a double bed assembled?
The furniture is delivered with a complete set of premium fittings, screws, and clear instructions. Assembly is intuitive and does not require specialist tools, and the fittings are designed for repeated assembly and disassembly without losing stability. Due to the size of the double bed, assembly is more comfortable with two people.
What payment methods are available, and can I buy on installments?
Available payment methods and installment options are shown in the cart before checkout. The available methods depend on the delivery country — different payment providers and installment programs are supported in different countries, so the purchase can be paid in installments wherever this option is available. The system will show the current options for your country based on the delivery address.
How much does a double bed cost, and what affects the price?
The price of each variant is shown on the product page in your local market currency. It depends on the model, finish, mattress size, selected headboard height, and whether the version is without drawers or with drawers. Oak finishes are the most expensive. Production takes 2–3 weeks, and you have 100 days to return the product without giving a reason.
Do you deliver double beds internationally?
Yes. We ship double beds throughout Europe on pallets that protect the furniture during transport. Individual packages are carefully packed. For Poland, Germany, and Austria, an additional room-of-choice delivery option is available in the cart.
What happens if the furniture arrives damaged?
The risk of damage is minimal thanks to pallet transport and careful packaging. Upon delivery, we recommend checking the shipment and taking photos if anything seems questionable. If any element turns out to be damaged, contact us — we will send a replacement without requiring the return of the entire bed. Checking the shipment with the courier helps with the process, but does not limit the right to report damage later.
Can I order wood or color samples before purchasing?
Yes. Upon request, we send samples so you can assess the color and wood grain in person before choosing a specific finish or custom RAL/NCS color. This is especially useful if you want to match the bed to furniture already present in the bedroom. To receive samples, contact us and let us know which finishes you are interested in.
